Headcel HPMC for Pharmaceutical Coating
HPMC is a multi-purpose pharmaceutical excipient that can be used as thickener, dispersant, emulsifier and film-forming agent. As a film coating or adhesive agent in oral solid preparation it can significantly improve the stability, dissolution rate as well as enhance the waterproofness of the tablets. HPMC can be also used as a suspension aid in suspension, as a matrix material in ophthalmic preparations, a skeleton material for hydrophilic gel skeleton sus-tained-release and gastric floating tablets.
